AI can support HR with recurring administrative work. Start with tasks whose output a staff member can easily check, such as a draft message or collecting missing information.
Support communication
Draft responses to common questions and help prepare appointments. Use approved information about the process and tell candidates where to ask questions. Keep a human contact option available.
Make onboarding visible
A checklist can show which accounts, documents and introductions are still needed. Assign an owner to each step. Have permissions and arrangements checked before an automatic action is executed.
Treat selection carefully
A CV summary is not an objective judgement about a candidate. Check that relevant experience is represented correctly and whether information is missing. Do not use a model output as the sole reason to reject someone.
Assess requirements first
Determine which personal information is necessary, who can access it and when it will be deleted. Have the applicable privacy and AI requirements assessed for the specific use. The [European Commission](https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/policies/regulatory-framework-ai) provides current AI Act information. Test with representative examples and keep human responsibility clear.
